The latest development by company XCJ Group (NZ) Ltd has just been completed. Located at 25-27 Enfield Street, Mount Eden, Auckland, the MIRO development offers 95 apartments and four retail ground floor premises.
Duncan MacDonald, from Colliers International, which is marketing the development, says that MIRO encapsulates life, art and leisure into a gallery of effortless apartment living, right on the doorstep of Mt Eden, which has made it a popular development.

Designed by Ashton Mitchell, one, two and three bedroom apartments are offered in the development with car parking included for two and threebedroom apartment options.
MIRO also includes an atrium lobby and internal courtyard area, featuring contemporary art, native planting and water features, with onsite cafe /gallery space.
Duncan says that the atrium design feature in the centre of the development really sets MIRO apart and allows natural light to flood the building.
Bridgeways lead off the middle atrium leading to the apartments making for a distinctive design feature, he says. Duncan says that the upmarket feel continues into the apartments with bespoke design and custom finishes.
Interiors are by The Design Option in conjunction with Context Architects and feature open plan layouts, Bosch appliances and Italian tiling.
Duncan says that modern aesthetics and artistic elements blend within the apartments and fl ow through to common areas. The building façade continues this theme and features glass and cedar detailing.
He says that MIRO’s location means that residents are surrounded by amenities, easy transport links and Auckland’s prime suburbs – Mount Eden village, Eden Terrace, Kingsland, Grafton, Newmarket, Parnell Downtown Auckland, and Ponsonby. The
apartments are also within the desirable Grammar zone.
“MIRO is positioned where characteristic Auckland suburbia meets CBD fringe. It offers residents the charm of Mt Eden Village and a neighbourhood feel with the convenience of being in close proximity to public transport and the CBD,” he says.
There are still a handful of apartments available in MIRO and Duncan expects these to be snapped up by savvy purchasers seeking value for money when it comes to the upmarket offering MIRO provides.
XCJ Group (NZ) Ltd is a New Zealand owned and operated residential and commercial development company started in 2014.
Company project manager Jimmy Wong says that the company focuses on utilising local skills and subcontractors for its developments where possible.
XCJ Group (NZ) Ltd also typically retains ownership of some of its developments. Past projects completed by the company include a mixed-use, nine-apartment, sixretail premises development in Pakuranga.
The company is also currently building a 31-terraced house and stand-alone house development in Ormiston, Flat Bush, called Ormiston Mews. The first phase is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2019 with houses still available for purchase.
