A new luxury development in Browns Bay, Auckland, aims to transform the quality of lifestyle and living in the area. The Victor will offer five levels of apartments with one level of ground floor retail and two levels of basement car parks.
The Victor is currently under construction and due for completion at the beginning of 2021.The Victor marketing manager and sales representative, Amie Bullock, says that the market has enthusiastically received the project.
Located at 2 Bute Road, The Victor occupies one of the most prominent sites in Browns Bay next to the East Coast Bays Library and is just a short stroll across the road to the Manly Esplanade and the popular Browns Bay beach.
A little further back from the site are the East Coast Bays Leisure Centre, the Bays Community Centre, Freyberg Park and Sherwood Reserve.
The wider area features some of the best private schools in Auckland – Kristin and Pinehurst – and many top public schools. It’s also home to North Harbour Stadium and Massey University campus.
Amie says the location is hard to beat – coastal charm with city convenience – as Browns Bay has its own bustling town centre with every amenity people may require, it’s only a 10 minute drive to Albany Mega Centre and a further 15 minutes to the Auckland CBD.
Designed by Archi_ON and GMC Architects and constructed by Waide Construction, The Victor is made from solid concrete and steel and includes an atrium with skylight, which warms the building and allows plenty of natural light to enter and includes plenty of natural plants. The Victor offers 64 freehold apartments including eight penthouses.
Amie says that the pent-houses are luxury living at its best with 2.7m high studs and floor to ceiling windows to let in natural light and so that residents can take advantage of the wide-spread sea views. They are approximately 145sqm plus a 50sqm balcony. There are three and two bedroom options available.
The apartments come in studio, one and two bedroom options ranging in size from 43sqm to 91sqm. There is also a 1.5 bedroom ‘flexi’ option which includes a flexible area that could be used for a study or guest bedroom.
Most of the apartments are two bedroom and come with two bathrooms, full size kitchen and great indoor-outdoor flow to a large balcony.Amie says designing for luxury living and to enhance the quality of lifestyle has been at the forefront of the development.
With the design aspect, space has been generously thought out, for example, apartments have an entry nook with room for coats and shoes. Balconys are spacious enough for a four seater table. There are 78 car parks for purchase including options with wheelchair accessibility.
Eight high end retail units are available for lease on the ground floor. A display suite is open at 54 Clyde Road, Monday to Friday 1-4pm and 12-4pm on the weekends. Here people can view renders and floor plans, check out products and get more information on all The Victor has to offer.
