Hawke’s Bay building company Svensson Construction seeks to bring high quality homes to the region and offers a very personalised service, says company director Jason Svensson.

This involves sourcing a section, designing and building a house to suit the site and sun, completing the build then delivering the finished product to the market. Jason says the aim is to offer a lovely family home that comes with enough space both inside and in the section for people to be comfortable.
The company is presently building a 170sqm three-bedroom home with office and double garage at Akina in Hastings.
The house will be clad in board and batten and offer open plan living, a separate bathroom and toilet plus ensuite off the master bedroom. There is a private patio with all day sun and Jason says the aim is to deliver stylish yet affordable homes.
People are welcome to register interest. Svensson Construction is also in demand subcontracting to other building companies to keep up with the demand for new housing in the region. Svensson Construction completes renovation and hard landscape projects such as decks, pergolas and retaining walls.
The company can work off clients’ plans or assist with this part of the process. Jason says the aim on every project is to deliver quality workmanship across all facets of the construction phase.
He also recognises that goodwill and honesty are paramount to achieving and maintaining a successful business relationship with clients.
