Pavilion showhome ticks all the boxes
Stonewood’s pavillion style show home features four bedrooms in one wing with family and formal lounge spaces in the other. The kitchen includes a stand-alone bench with twin sinks, Uniquartz engineered benchtops and a cathedral ceiling.

Stonewood Homes East Auckland builds over a large area from the Auckland Harbour through to Takanini. One hot-spot where a lot of building activity is taking place has been in and around Maraitai and Whitford.
“Yes, we have definitely experienced a busy time these past few months,” says Lance Howan, one of a team of 10 based at Stonewood Homes East Auckland’s new showhome at 23 Kahawairahi Drive, Beachlands.
The 233sqm home has been carefully and thoughtfully designed with two wings providing an exceptionally easy flow.
One wing is home to a separate family and formal lounge spaces either side of the hub of the house – the kitchen, complete with scullery, while the other wing holds four bedrooms, with the master complete with walk in wardrobe and en-suite.
“We extended from the original Pavilion floor plan to take in the scullery and the show home has been fitted out to show various options of materials used. One shower has been tiled and the other constructed from acrylic.”
Given the homes separate wing footprint, an outside living area has been created between the two capsules, offering plenty of separate areas to socialise.
The show home is clad in a combination of wood and plaster and a decked corridor, with timber frame covering leads to the front door, between the homes two wings.
Inside the show home is packed with high quality features, including 2.57m stud and 2.2m wide doors.
It’s kitchen includes a spacious stand-alone bench with twin sinks doubling as a breakfast bar, long enough to fit five seats comfortably. The kitchen colour template is light, and the cathedral ceiling gives a sense of lightness and space.
Uniquartz engineered benchtops blend in well with the light colourway and at the far end of the room, past the dining area, the living room features an inbuilt gas fire. The clever design has also allowed a study nook to be built.
Stonewood Homes East Auckland has a number of house and land packages on offer in the popular Beachlands area, ranging from $950,000$1,500,000.
“Most of the sections are 800sqm and capable of accommodating a home of up to 240sqm for a single storey,” explains Lance.
When asked what sets Stonewood Homes apart from other building companies Lance says it begins with the fact that the company is privately owned.
“We like to think because the franchise is privately owned that we have to work hard. We use better materials so nothing breaks down as we generally rely on word of mouth to procure future clients.”
And that attention to exacting standards has resulted in Stonewood Homes East Auckland’s gold medal performance track-record.
“We enter Master Builders House of the Year every year and recently did very well with the showhome in Pukekohe winning Gold and one of our homes was the Gold Category winner.”
