Redesign Projects offers design, process and a team of hand picked shopfitters for a complete service.

Redesign Group’s new arm, Redesign Projects, is indicative of the company’s effort to offer a seamless design and construction service to clients, says Redesign Group director Jo Pennycuick.
“We were experiencing demand from clients for a construction service,” says Jo.
“They wanted to know a reputable company was taking charge of the whole process.  “Redesign Projects offers design, process and a team of hand picked shopfitters for a complete service,” she explains.
With over 500 retail outlets needing to be fitted out in the next 18-24 months in Auckland alone it was a good time to launch Redesign Projects, which has been well received by the market, she says.
It has seen Redesign Projects already selected as a preferred supplier by development giants Kiwi Property, AMP and Scentre Group to name but a few.
edesign Projects is presently working on the roll out of the new Robert Harris cafes around New Zealand and has completed Andrea Biani and Treasure Box fitouts in Christchurch.
Redesign Group is one of those Kiwi success stories that largely manage to remain under the radar.
The company was started by interior designer Jo in 1998 and has since grown to offer offices in New Zealand, Asia, India and the Middle East.
Clients include ITC India, Jamie Oliver, Air Asia, SSP Global, Samsung and Diageo.

Jo’s expertise extends far beyond design.
She is an advisor on the ExportNZ board and an India New Zealand Business Council board member.
This sees her also working in a business consultancy and management role with many of her clients.
“For example the other day someone wanted to expand internationally but had no idea how to do so. I was able to offer advice and process which made the dream possible for them and provided a pathway.”
Jo says a key point of difference is her desire to bring international design trends back to New Zealand as well as providing her international clients with a uniquely Kiwi perspective.
Process and utilising the latest technology is another factor that sets Redesign Group.
As an example Redesign Group has its own in-house rendering company in Ho Chi Minh City to provide detailed imagery so clients can see exactly how their design will look.
“We are often up against big international companies for contracts.  We recently secured a contract in Riyadh Saudi Arabia against a Dubai and London company partly due to the beauty and quality of our design and renders. It is going the extra mile in all aspects of our service that sets Redesign Group apart.”
Redesign Group is focused on growth and is opening a new branch in July in the United States in Raleigh.
Although the company has been working in the US for some time a dedicated branch will enable it to grow market share and offer clients an enhanced service, says Jo.
“The success of Redesign Group is down to a talented team, our unique systems and procedures and how we manage projects so that we always deliver what we say we will.”
