Being selected to work in the Paerata Rise subdivision is a good opportunity for Precision Homes to showcase the high quality homes the company builds as well as its personal, hands on service, says company director Andrew Butts.
“Precision Homes is all about quality and attention to detail. We focus on bespoke homes designed for the customer’s individual needs,” he says.
This focus is evidenced in a home that won Precision Homes a gold award and was a gold reserve finalist in 2015, and won a silver award last year in the Registered Master Builders House of the Year competition for the Auckland/Northland region.
The 374sqm five-bedroom home is packed with bespoke features, including a wine cellar and floor-to-ceiling library shelves.
The plaster and brick home also has chimney and portico pillars rock schist details, adding more bespoke charm to the design. Precision Homes will showcase what it offers in a new show home being built in Paerata Rise and due to open in December.
The single level show home will be around 205sqm and will include four bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen with butler’s pantry, two lounges with tongue and groove raking ceilings, separate laundry and a double garage.
A large timber outdoor deck area will complete the look of the modern home being designed by Dobbs Design, a company that Precision Homes often works with.
Andrew says the aim of the show home is to demonstrate how Precision Homes stands out from the crowd. The company will be offering a variety of turnkey house and land packages in Paerata Rise on sections of around 500sqm.
Andrew says the subdivision provides great access to the motorway and the area will have good infrastructure including the train station. With good covenants to protect people’s investment, Paerata Rise is certain to be extremely popular, he says.
Andrew lives locally making involvement in Paerata Rise especially exciting as he can contribute to the development of the area.
He began his building career in 2000 and rose to become a foreman for one of South Auckland’s top building companies before venturing out on his own.
He started Precision Homes NZ Ltd in 2012 with the aim of creating a company that would build high quality homes without costing them the earth.
Andrew is a Licensed Building Practitioner and project manages each job from start to finish ensuring everything is completed to the highest standards and keeping everyone on track to ensure the whole process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Andrew’s wife Alisha, who runs her own interior design company, often contributes to Precision Homes’ projects. Precision Homes completes new home builds and renovation projects and works from client’s own plans or also assist with this important part of the process.
From a small one bedroom unit right up to huge multi level mansions the company can tackle a wide variety of projects and Andrew stresses that every job gets treated with the same high quality workmanship and attention to detail.
As a member of Registered Master Builders Precision Homes can also offer clients the 10 year Master Build Guarantee.
“We work closely with our clients throughout the whole process and want them to be 100% satisfied once the job is complete. At the end of the day it is their home we are building and we feel it should be their dream home in every way.”
