Building healthy and stylish homes

Auckland company Palladium Homes offers homes that deliver improved living and functionality. “What’s more we are mindful that a home is likely to be the biggest single investment our customers will ever make so it has to represent value for money,” says company general manager Alex Wright.
“We think about how people live, and design our homes around them.” The company is heavily involved in Paerata Rise, the new lifestyle community being developed between Karaka and Pukekohe, approximately 40 minutes from Central Auckland, and has plans to build a new show home as well as offer a range of house-and-land packages.
The first show home, due to open in December, will be a two-storey home with a focus on maximising space and indoor/outdoor flow. It will also demonstrate another focus for Palladium Homes, which is building warm, dry homes.
Although smart technology can be utilised to assist this process, the company also takes into account the building basics such as sun, prevailing wind, lay of the land and other factors to situate the house in the best position on the site.
Alex says these simple factors can have a real impact on the comfort of the home for occupants for minimal cost. “We want our homes to be temperate and dry but ultimately stand the test of time in both style and value,” he says.
Palladium Homes will be offering a range of single and two-storey house-and-land packages ranging from 170 to 220sqm in Paerata Rise.
The homes will include at least three bedrooms, en-suite and main bathroom. Although many will be designed in advance customers will be able to personalise or even opt for a full design-and-build package.

Building healthy and stylish homes
Palladium Homes is focused on building warm, dry and healthy homes – with plenty of style.

Palladium Homes was started around 14 years ago by Kiwis Kirk Davis and Jason Shields who between them they have more than 20 years of experience building homes.
Palladium Homes believes in quality before quantity so every home receives the individual attention required to meet the highest standards. Alex describes Palladium Homes as a very forward facing bespoke company, which creates tailored homes to meet most budgets.
“We are a boutique -New Zealand owned design and build company with our eyes fixed firmly on ‘what’s next’ and not ‘what has always been done’.
The industry desperately needs innovation and that’s what we do best,” he says Palladium Homes employs its own team of builders and also works with the team of hand picked trusted subcontractors who share the company’s vision for quality.
The company builds on the greater Auckland area and Alex says Palladium Homes is excited about the opportunity to work in Paerata Rise. “With a new train station, road extension and bus terminal earmarked for the area it will make Paerata very accessible to Auckland city.
“So people will be able to live in a semi-rural area but with good connection to the rest of Auckland. It’s a great development and we are proud to be opening our show homes and starting to build homes that people will love to live in.”
