Family farm Acer Properties which milks 600 Friesian cows at Putaruru had its best ever milk production last season. Keeping up to date with some of the smartest tools of the trade is One Arrow Ltd farm operator Jonny Brown, who oversees the 340 hectare Dairy Holdings farm, which was converted about 20 years ago. By his own admission Taranaki dairy farmer Ali McFetridge, who has 64ha in Inglewood & 23ha lease land, is lucky to be here after the conversion of his shed nearly cost him his life.
