Arthur’s Point has been described as Queenstown’s “hidden gem”.
A short, seven-minute drive to the city’s centre, expansive views of the surrounding mountain ranges and the picturesque Shotover river below.
The tranquility of a rural setting with the convenience of the city on your doorstep.
Within that gem is another hidden treasure, a place to relax, unwind and be pampered, THC Group’s Park Residence apartments.
Accommodation in Queenstown doesn’t come much better.
Designed by Koia Architects, the sleek European-style apartments have been designed and built to complement the natural alpine surroundings, encapsulating Queenstown’s true character for an authentic experience and situated at the foot of Coronet Peak ski field.
All apartments are decorated with carefully chosen, beautiful and unique local artwork by Arrowtown artist Lisa Duncan.
Park Residence exists in response to a higher demand for larger apartments in the area; a place for guests to stay with their families and for longer ski holidays.
The one and two-bedroom apartments are also a great option for larger conference groups.
“These apartments are excellent for longer stays,” says hotel manager Birgit Jussmann.
“Guests are able to return from their day activities to a warm and cosy apartment, book a mas-sage and relax by a fireplace.
“Each apartment comes with an excellent modern kitchen, gas fireplace, washing machine, espresso coffee machine, in-room safe, free Wi-Fi and free parking.
Everything you can imagine for a perfect getaway.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be taken care of at Kanuka Kitchen and Bar offering a mouthwatering menu showcasing the best of what the region has to offer with fresh locally-sourced ingredients.
And after a long day of thrills, spills and hitting the slopes, for a small fee, Park Residence guests can take advantage of the neighbouring Nugget Point’s Roman-style spa, complete with steam room, sauna, rose shower, indoor pool and hot tub as well as the exciting new addition – outdoor hot tubs.
A chance to relieve those aches and pains or just simply relax.
Having only recently opened their doors, the apartments have been well-received, and guest’s feedback has been great.
“People love the tranquillity of alpine surroundings and getting away from busy Queenstown,” Birgit says.
“Although it’s Queenstown’s shoulder season for tourism at the moment, we are already managing bookings for upcoming winter season and responding to enquiries as far as 2020. ”
