Premium sites available at The Heights

Award-winning residential design and build company Landmark Homes has four premium positioned sites in Wanaka’s latest and much awaited subdivision The Heights, offering house and land packages for four lucky customers who will be able to put their own stamp on the architectural designs already planned for the sites.
The Heights Wanaka occupies a spectacular elevated site which has been strategically reserved from development for many years by the Queenstown Lakes District Council, as Wanaka has grown around this exceptional piece of real estate.
Now secured by trusted local developer Universal Developments and available for the first time, The Heights Wanaka offers a rare chance to capture the quintessential Wanaka outlook, with uninterrupted views of Lake Wanaka and the vista of the rugged Southern Alps, from a convenient, central location.
Landmark Homes Central Otago executive assistant Lisinda Rickman says the company has secured two prime sites at The Heights Wanaka, within a five minute walk to the local primary and high schools, an easy 15 minute downhill walk to Lake Wanaka, and with unobstructed views of the lake.
Architecturally designed plans for traditional Central Otago styled schist and cedar homes are in place for each site, which can be adapted to suit the requirements of their buyers.
“The buyers can change anything they want to on the plan, and they can choose their own colours, kitchens, flooring, and all of those kinds of options,” she says.
“All the hard work has been done, and all that’s left is for the buyers to put their own stamp on it.”
She says demand for house and land packages in Wanaka is further compounded in this case by the fact The Heights Wanaka has been such a long time in the making, so its release has been eagerly anticipated. With titles expected by May or June, The Heights Wanaka will start to take shape pretty quickly.
Meanwhile Landmark Homes Central Otago has a busy year ahead with a new Landmark Homes office going in to Queenstown’s new shopping centre Five Mile, as well as sites secured and plans in place for two new show homes; one at The Heights Wanaka and one in Arrowtown.
Landmark Homes was initially started in Tauranga by Paul and Debbie Clarke, whose building company was being approached by clients outside of the Bay of Plenty.
The first Landmark Homes franchise outside of Tauranga was established in 2005, and now the company operates 16 different franchises all across New Zealand.

Former super yacht captain Andrew Lawrence built a Landmark Homes with the Central Otago franchise last year, and enjoyed the process so much he bought the franchise.
The impeccably high standards from his super yacht career flow through to his current position, and in turn those working around him find themselves lifting their own game to meet them. “Andy isn’t really a sales person, he’s more of a results driven person,” says Lisinda.
“He always says to us we are to over extend everything we do, so our customers will come back and say they never expected that.”
Andy has a background in project management, and brings a fresh enthusiasm and energy to Landmark Homes. He is looking forward to establishing himself in the local business community.
