Jennian Homes has been building quality homes in the Canterbury area for more than 20 years. With two new show homes and an exciting Studio J design centre, the company is experiencing good growth and building some beautiful homes for its clients.
Jennian Homes Canterbury North opened a show home at 9 Lemonwood Drive, directly opposite the school in the show home village at Faringdon, Rolleston in September last year.
A perfect solution for a young, modern family, the home is designed around its kitchen and the portico area outside for indoor outdoor living.
A real family home, it is oriented towards the sun, and comprised of four bedrooms with access to the outdoor living area from the master bedroom, and a large backyard.
In Rangiora, Jennian Homes Canterbury North opened another four bedroom show home in the new West Park subdivision in January.
While both show homes include features which would appeal to people at all ages and stages of life, this new Rangiora show home is more of a sophisticated family solution, with feature internal schist walls and a designer kitchen from Trends Kitchens, with black soft touch joinery, a feature copper tile splashback, and beautiful detailing.
The Rangiora show home is also oriented for the sun and its outdoor living area is able to be accessed from multiple rooms, including both living areas and the master bedroom.
Jennian Homes Canterbury North is a family business owned for the past two years by hands-on directors Paul and Bubs Jenkins and Dwayne and Sue Prendergast.
The franchise facilitates new home builds in Christchurch and the greater Canterbury region from Kaikoura through to Rakaia.
Sue says Jennian Homes Canterbury North has a solution for anyone who wants to build a new home. “We offer design and build services and house and land packages,” she says.

Initially established by Ian and Jenny Patton, the couple built up several North Island Jennian Homes franchises within 15 years, and the total volume of Jennian Homes builds had pushed the company to the top three building companies in New Zealand.
Jennian Homes arrived in the South Island in 1997 when the Christchurch franchise began, and for the past 20 years has been producing well designed, top quality family homes, ranging from small and modest 80sqm single storey units to large, 350sqm plus two storey dwellings.
