Ticking all the boxes in Cambridge
The new Jennian Homes three-bedroom showhome in Leamington is a great example of the quality Jennian produces.

Bourgeoning growth in housing in towns south of Hamilton has resulted in Jennian Homes Cambridge increasing its local focus on servicing clients in the Cambridge, Matamata, Morrinsville and Te Awamutu areas.
Aidan Jury, from Jennian’s national office describes residential housing in and around these towns as massive and says the Cambridge team have been very busy.
A new display-home has recently opened at 41 Norfolk Drive, Leamington. Nestled on a 433m2 section, the three bedroom home is a great example of the quality Jennian Homes produce.
“It’s a beautiful home and we’re very proud of the crew who built it. One of the strengths of our brand is that we have grown long-established relationships with builders and sub-trades who build almost entirely for us,” says Aidan. The home ticks all the boxes and offers effortless living throughout.
“There’s great indoor outdoor flow from the dining area and kitchen to the decking.” Positioned to catch the morning sun, the master bedroom is of generous proportions with attached ensuite and walk-in wardrobe.
Jennian’s history in the Waikato goes back 35 years and has evolved ever since. It’s a journey Aidan says where a lot has been learnt along the way, in a very changing and dynamic residential market.
“Land is more and more expensive given property development costs increasing and it means that, as a group housing business, our challenge has been to create systems that provide our customers with the best possible value for money, while maintaining the quality our reputation has been built on.”
Jennian Homes is able to offer owners a watertight 36 month total piece of mind maintenance warranty and completion promise, well in excess of that offered in the general market.
“The first few seasons are a test of any home and if anything is ever going to go wrong it is usually in the first couple of years, so our homeowners can rest assured that their home is 100% covered over this time.” Other benefits of building with Jennian include a written completion promise.
“It means that, if the existing builder should for whatever reason be unable to complete the build that it will be completed via the broader Jennian Group.” It’s certainly not a case of being bound to using a Jennian plan either.
“It’s probably split about 50:50 in terms of our clients working from one of our existing plans or their own. We tend to find our clients either have very clear ideas about what they want, or look to us to provide ideas from our range of plans.”
The Jennian model is based on a customer centric focus making the building pathway as costeffective as possible. “You only pay for the stage that has been completed.
This is rare in the market and gives our clients total confidence. It means clients get real value for money and are not parting with funds in advance of that stage being completed.”
Throughout construction, home-owners are linked to the build through an on-line community. It means they can see exactly where their build is at.
Once the display home opens in late July the team at Jennian Homes Cambridge will be based there, with set times available for prospective clients to view.
“We’re proud of our record delivering beautiful homes throughout the South Waikato. These are communities we feel very much a part of.”
