Building quality homes for Kiwi families
Ikon Homes offers a range of exclusive plans but focuses primarily on design and build homes with its own in-house designer.

Since Ikon Homes was established in North/ West Auckland late last year the company has been busy building homes, opening a new show home and a head office.
Company owners Colin and Lorraine Beaumont have a long history of building new homes in Auckland previously owning a successful building company.
Colin, a builder by trade brings over 25 years of practical hands on building experience, Lorraine is the company administration whizz and the Beaumont’s son Blair is also a builder who contracts to his folks and undertakes many of the Ikon Homes builds. This focus on family resonates with clients, says Colin.
“We are the family that builds for families. Our clients have told us that they really appreciate the friendly, family company culture that Ikon Homes offers,” he says.
“We are able to combine these values with offering great buying power and competitive pricing.”
Based at 21 Florence Avenue in Orewa, Ikon Homes offers a range of exclusive plans but focuses primarily on design and build homes with its own in-house designer.
Clients are also welcome to approach the company with their own plans. Ikon Homes also offers a range of house and land packages.
The company has a number of sites in the popular Huapai Triangle subdivision. Plans can be modified to suit the client’s needs or a complete design and build option is offered.
The company’s new show home in the subdivision on the corner of Vinistra and Jane Maree roads perfectly demonstrates Ikon Homes focus on quality and endurance.
In fact designed to impress and built to endure is another of the company’s mantras.
The show home, based on a plan from the company’s Kowhai range, is 210 m² and includes four bedrooms, open plan living with sloping ceilings, study, two bathrooms and double garage.
The contemporary family home has a mono pitch roof and displays various exterior cladding options.
Colin says Huapai Triangle has many benefits: close to the local school, motorway and the subdivision has a large greenfinger/stream alongside extensive landscaping.
Within the development there will be two recreation reserves with a series of shared cycle and walkways making this an ideal area for young families, he says.
With significant infrastructure upgrades in the pipeline, which will see the Northwestern motorway extended to Waimauku, Colin says purchasing in Huapai Triangle presents a good opportunity for people looking to benefit from the capital gains, which typically follow important infrastructure upgrades.
Ikon Homes can arrange low deposit finance (lending criteria applies). Ikon Homes also has house and land packages available in Kauri Grove and Deacon Point as well as in Orewa and Kumeu.
The company has been accepted as a builder in Millwater and is currently designing a show home for this development.
As quality is a cornerstone of Ikon Homes’ ethos the Beaumont’s are members of the Master Builders Federation and only use licensed building practitioners for their builds.
“At Ikon Homes we are committed to making the whole process seamless and fun,” says Colin.
“The bottom line is we enjoy building beautiful homes for Kiwi families. We’re not a volume building company, we’re a quality home building company and we love to make our clients dreams a reality.”
