Generation Homes Christchurch sets itself apart by forming partnerships with landowners and developers to provide its customers access to some of the best land available for new homes in Christchurch, says company owner Evan Beker.
A case it point is Copper Ridge Estate in Halswell for which Generation Homes Christchurch will be the exclusive builder.
The new residential development provides buyers with location, convenience and choice, says Evan. Located in Halswell Copper Ridge Estate will offer 106 sites spread over 8.2 hectares with lot sizes starting at 250sqm and extending through to 700 sqm.
Generation Homes Christchurch has developed a range of architectural designs including a mix of three and four bedroom homes and a small number of two bedroom duplexes.
Stages one and two, comprising 55 homes, have just been released to the market and Evan says response has been extremely positive.
All homes will come with a guaranteed fixed price and move in date giving buyers complete peace of mind. Home designs can be adjusted to clients’ requirements or a complete design and build undertaken for a bespoke home.
With prices starting at just $459,000 and the majority of home and land packages priced between $550,000 and $700,000 Copper Ridge Estate represents great value for money, says Evan.
He says strict covenants protect purchasers’ investment and will result in an extremely high quality development.
He says that Copper Ridge Estate boasts a community feeling with close proximity to amenities in Halswell and Wigram and great connectivity to Christchurch city.
The new Halswell West school (year 1 to 8) in Knight Stream Park will be next door to Copper Ridge and opens from term one 2019.
Generation Homes was started in 1997 by Tauranga electrician Graham Hockly and builderbusiness partner David Mansel. The partnership was forged on trust, an ethic of hard work, quality workmanship, integrity and providing value for money.
Today Generation Homes has grown to become one of New Zealand’s top ten residential construction companies by volume.
Because Generation Homes is not a franchise system – all Generation Homes businesses are owned in a 50% partnership by the local owner/ operator – this provides a point of difference for customers.
Evan and wife Nadja became the Christchurch Generation Homes joint venture partner after previously owning a kitchen business.
“At Generation Homes Christchurch we focus on listening, removing potential frustrations and providing a stress-free building experience.
“We’re small enough to care and offer our clients a really personal service,” explains Evan.
He says another key point of difference in the marketplace for Generation Homes is the ability to provide affordable houses to Kiwis without compromising on design and innovation.
To make things easier for first home buyers, Generation Homes has developed a new range of architecturally designed three bedroom plans to enable such buyers to purchase a house and land package within the cap for the KiwiSaver Home Start grant.
“People can come in and look at one of our standard plans they like and adapt it to meet their needs. Alternatively we can start from scratch and develop a new plan,” says Evan.
Generation Homes Christchurch also has house and land packages available in Rolleston in the Devon Green and Branthwaite subdivisions. The company builds from Christchurch city south, Rolleston and Lincoln.
There is a show home in Rolleston at 74 Strauss Drive and in Halswell at 1 Richmond Avenue. There is a sales kiosk at Copper Ridge Estate open Thursday to Monday 2-4pm.
Evan also suggests that people keep an eye on the Generation Homes website and the Generation Homes Christchurch facebook page for announcements about information evenings being held about the opportunities available at Copper Ridge Estate.
