A commitment to clients, a fun team culture, rising to professional challenges and delivering state of the art projects – there’s a lot to consider when figuring out how to make a workplace a great place to be.
Electrical engineering firm EIS has arguably found the ideal balance in delivering outstanding industrial projects and creating a positive and invigorating team culture
As a supportive and diverse team, the company has completed projects across New Zealand and overseas including Australia, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Canada, Uganda and Saudi Arabia.
It provides solutions over a wide range of disciplines, including industrial electrical installation, project management, automation and process control, machine safety, hazardous area services, research and development, plant maintenance, robotics and compliance.
EIS chief executive and co-founder Dean Addie says the company’s people and their commitment were among its greatest assets; with them, EIS has become an innovative and forward-thinking company, constantly looking at newer and more efficient ways to do things.
Best in class health and safety, ensuring career pathways and providing challenging and rewarding projects are drivers in EIS’ success, Dean says.
“As a leader, it’s important to me that the wellbeing of our team – from both health and safety and office culture points of view – is always in a strong position.
“A company can only grow and be successful when the people who make up the organisation are inspired and challenged by the work on the table.”
“I know that every member of our team is 100% committed to EIS, their fellow teammates and our clients – that’s what makes EIS a great place to work.”
It’s not just Dean’s words that speak to that; last year, EIS claimed the overall Master Electricians Excellence Award at the 2017 Master Electricians Excellence Awards.
