Portside Industrial Park proves popular
Seeing a gap in the market for small- to medium-sized industrial units in central Mt Maunganui led to the development of Portside Industrial Park. Peter Williams from Veros Property Services says the lack of industrial land supply in the area resulted in an investigation into the feasibility of the 20-unit project, which was completed late last year.
He says the units have sold exceptionally well to a mix of owner occupiers and investors.“The units suit trades people as their depot and storage, small- and medium-sized businesses that require extra storage, locals looking to store their mobile home or boat and small manufacturers and importers,” he says.
The units enjoy extensive road frontage, prominent signage and come complete with carparks. The units are mainly 90-110sqm, with a high stud of approximately 6.2m and are accessed via roller doors and separate access. There is an office and toilets on site.
