Tailor the plan to suit your vision
Stonewood Homes North Auckland is due to open a new show home in the popular Millwater subdivision on October 7 that will showcase executive living at its best, says Stonewood Homes North Auckland sales and preconstruction manager Mandy Mitten.
Based on the company’s new Your Style series, the new two-storey home called Mayfair will comprise 372sqm, including four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living spaces and a double garage.
It will be clad in weatherboard, giving a traditional look, and is aimed at large families or multigenerational living, with a self-contained ensuite bathroom on the lower floor, a growing trend, says Mandy.
The Millwater project, between Silverdale and Orewa, will eventually include over 3000 properties to be built over 10 years.
It will include a mixture of low, medium and high-density homes with around 10,000 residents.
Stonewood Homes North Auckland has been building in Millwater for the last six years and has already completed over 50 homes in the development, with between five and 10 homes under construction at any one time.
The company is currently offering house and land packages on Colonial Drive, Manuel Road and Vue Terrace.
All are on sections ranging from 500-700sqm and offer homes of 195-230sqm with four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Mandy says Millwater has been extremely popular because of the good schooling and easy access to the motorway and the Orewa coast, as well as facilities such as shopping centres.
Stonewood Homes is a national company which has been in operation for over 25 years. It has built more than 6000 new homes, with a large percentage built for repeat customers.
Stonewood Homes North Auckland is owned by Stephen Johnson, an entrepreneur who previously owned another large-volume building company on the North Shore.
He is supported by general manager Stewart Wilson, who also offers many years of experience in the construction industry.
Stonewood Homes North Auckland employs around 10 staff. Mandy says a key point of difference for the business is that the plan range offered by the company has a boutique flavour.
This offers clients something unique, combined with the cost effectiveness of a group home builder.
She says that the company’s entry-level specification is superior to what is typically offered in the market.
All house and land packages are fixed price and clients also have a great deal of choice during the process.
For example, the new Your Style series gives three different elevations (external looks) for each plan and clients can choose from a selection of plan sizes so they can see how the design would look slightly larger and smaller without incurring architect fees.
Once a plan is selected, the client has the ability to choose the specification to suit their needs for specific parts of the home.
The market is busy for Stonewood Homes North Auckland, which covers west and north Auckland and also offers a full design and build option.
The company has a new office in Orewa, which opened in May to cater to that growing market.
