Custom design adds special touch
Jennian Homes BOP’s strong focus on quality is evidenced by its wins at the Registered Master Builders House of the Year Awards.

Jennian Homes Bay of Plenty is set to open a new show home in The Lakes Tauranga at 37 Benmore Crescent.

Due to open in early December, the 185sqm show home includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and al fresco dining area.

Clad in brick and Linea weatherboard, the contemporary-style home will appeal to the range of buyers looking to build in The Lakes, says Jo Van Lye, of Jennian Homes BOP.

The company will also build a 260sqm architecturally designed home at the entranceway to the Summit stage of the subdivision in 2018.

The show home, an executive family residence, will include four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas, and designer kitchen and scullery.

Jennian Homes BOP has been building in The Lakes Tauranga since 2013 and is currently offering a range of house and land packages in the subdivision.

Jo says that the franchise has experienced constant growth since it was taken over by her husband, Shane Lye, and licensed builder Matt Mackay.

She says the real point of difference with Jennian Homes BOP is that most of their builds are customised designs completed in-house.

“This means that our clients deal with the Jennian owners from an early stage. We prioritise giving the client what they want to suit their budget and employ our own builders to give us greater control over quality. We are a boutique-style building company with the professional support of Jennian’s 33 years in the building industry,” she explains.

The company’s strong focus on quality is evidenced by its wins at the Registered Master Builders House of the Year Awards.

This year the company won silver awards in the volume/group housing new home up to $450,000 and $450,000$700,000 sections in the Bay of Plenty/Central Plateau region.

Built on a tight 350sqm site, the first home in the Golden Sands subdivision in Papamoa shows what is possible on a budget.

It is distinctively clad in white brick and black mortar with vertical shiplap cedar cladding. The 153sqm home features three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The other award-winning home was built in Mt Maunganui and is a two-level beachfront residence replacing an outdated bach that previously stood on the site.

“These awards reflect the type of high quality homes we consistently produce,” says Jo. “At Jennian Homes BOP quality is our No. 1 priority. We want every home to be special.

We want our clients to be happy for years to come, and for everyone in our team to feel proud of what we have achieved for our clients.” Jennian offers a range of proven plans as well as a full design and build option.

Clients can log onto the My Jennian section of the company website, where the team will post regular updates and photos to make the building process easier.

Jennian Homes BOP builds extensively throughout the Bay from Pukehina to Waihi and up to Matamata.

It offers a 10-year Master Build guarantee as well as applicable supplier warranties and guarantees on all new home builds.
