The newly finished home is a three-bedroom/two bathroom contemporary dwelling with open plan kitchen/living/dining and a double garage, plus a one-bedroom self-contained flat.

Award-winning Queenstown-based Master Builder Andrew Campbell says Hanley’s Farm is “fantastic” for the Queenstown area and for its many hardworking young families.

Having launched his company – A. Campbell Builder Ltd – in Queenstown in 2005, Andrew is very conscious of how hard it can be for local people to get a foot on the property ladder.

That dream of home ownership is now a step closer for many, thanks to Hanley’s Farm where sections have been realistically priced to cater to a wide cross section of the local market.

“I’m really impressed with the professionalism of the developers,” Andrew says.

Hanley’s Farm is in a great location between Lake Wakatipu, Deer Park Heights and The Re-markables and it has been so thoughtfully designed with plenty of green areas and playgrounds.

“The views are breath-taking. As Queenstown grows, it needs places like this where young families can make a home; Hanley’s Farm is just what Queenstown needs.”

Currently, Andrew and his team are putting the finishing touches on one new home at Hanley’s Farm, with two more about to get underway and another five in the design phase.

The newly finished home is a three-bedroom/two bathroom contemporary dwelling with open plan kitchen/living/dining and a double garage, plus a one-bedroom self-contained flat.

“The owners are planning to rent out the self-contained flat as a secondary source of income.”

While the perception is that only well-off people live in Queenstown, Andrew says the reality is that there are many working people and young families trying to make a future there too.

Developments like Hanley’s Farm recognised the need for a diverse range of residential options.

As a local builder, he says it is deeply satisfying to work with first home buyers and see them achieve their dream of home ownership.

“It’s a great feeling to be able to hand over the keys to a young family and know that they can now move into their own brand new home and start paying it off, rather than putting it all into rent.

“It’s pretty rewarding and a win-win across the board as you know it represents a long term commitment to them staying in Queenstown too.”

Andrew is committed to providing clients with the highest standard of workmanship, with detailed planning and careful coordination ensuring all projects are delivered on time and on budget.

He is very experienced in the Queenstown market, having built quality homes throughout the Wakatipu Basin.

“This is a pretty special place in which to live and work.

“Now and again, you stop and take five minutes to appreciate the spectacular views. It’s no surprise that there is this massive demand for housing here.”

In the local market, Andrew has earned a reputation as an honest and conscientious builder.
