Living the Kiwi dream at Flemington

Living the Kiwi dream at Flemington
Fraemoh’s Nikau three bedroom show home features a master suite with a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite, as well as two family bedrooms, a generous living area and double garage.

Fraemohs Homes, one of New Zealand’s most well-known and trusted home building brands, is creating all that’s required to live the Kiwi dream at its latest show home currently under construction at Lincoln’s Flemington subdivision.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom Fraemohs Timbermode show home, on track for completion in November at Flemington’s Show Home Village on Craig Thompson Drive, has been designed both for affordability and lifestyle appeal.

Designed specifically for its 695m² site, the 213m² show home will offer outstanding outdoor living that will make the most of available sun while minimising wind exposure.

The master bedroom will open out onto its own outdoor patio, while the kitchen will flow through to a sheltered external breakfast bar.

“Our goal has been to create a lovely home with a real Kiwi, country feel,” says Fraemohs General Manager Amanda Van der Kley.

“As well as having two living areas in the home, we have also created three living areas outside the home, so it’ll be an entertainer’s delight.

“There’s a nice quiet corner where Mum and Dad can sit and have a glass of wine and chat, and a space where the children can play and another space where you could get together with friends around the outdoor fire.”

The Clearwater show home in Lincoln features four bedrooms, generous living and dining areas, a large patio, a long galley kitchen, two bathrooms and a separate laundry.

The distinctive Timbermode design will also showcase all the timeless simplicity and style that is synonymous with this well-established company that has been building homes for New Zealanders for almost 50 years.

Set on 58 hectares, Flemington is a 650-section landscaped subdivision that enjoys a rural outlook
and easy access to Lincoln’s facilities and services.

Fraemohs Homes is proud to be contributing to the future of Flemington. “We see some great options here for families seeking an affordable lifestyle,” Amanda says. “This area will only continue to grow.

The show home village is in a good location on the subdivision’s northern side where there will be more sections coming up for sale.”

Catering to the Kiwi lifestyle is very much central to the plan that informs the new Fraemohs show home at Flemington, according to the company’s sales manager Shirley Thomson: “This home will be warm and comfortable and have good sized bedrooms and living spaces … and we’ve really designed it for outdoor living, so children will be able to wander outside and pick fresh fruit and vegetables from the beautiful edible garden we are creating alongside landscaped areas.”

Once it is finished, the goal also is that visitors will be able to walk into the home and quickly gain an understanding of what it would cost them to build it.

“We can work with any budget,” Shirley says. Of course, the show home is only one example of what Fraemohs Homes can offer, with a range of plans available to choose from.

“If necessary, we can start from scratch and create a plan that is site specific and will maximise the section’s living potential.”

Fraemohs also has a showhome open to view at Te Whariki Lincoln show home village, open Wednesday to Saturday, 12-4pm on Vernon Drive. Fraemohs Homes offers a full architectural design and build service in Canterbury, with many extras included such as quality carpets, electrical fittings and appliances.
