Care programme sets builder apart
Classic Builders is pleased to be offering a range of house and land packages in the Terrace Views subdivision at Papamoa.
The company has a range of three and four bedroom homes on sections ranging from 325 square metres to 578 square metres, available in stage two called Park Terrace.
Classic Builders regional manager for the Bay of Plenty and Waikato, Paul Taylor, says the subdivision has a nice coastal and rural feel being located within walking distance to Papamoa Beach and with views to the hills.
Classic Builders is currently building a number of homes in the sold out stage one called Sunrise Terrace.
It will offer house and land packages in the yet to be released stage three of the development and Paul says that interested people can contact Classic Builders so a package can be put together to suit their needs.
Kiwi-owned and operated Classic Builders began almost 20 years ago when Peter Cooney and Matt Lagerberg saw a need in the market for quality, value-for-money homes, delivered within a pre-agreed time frame and at a fixed price.
Founded in the Bay of Plenty, Classic Builders is the largest residential house builder i n the Bay of Plenty, and is the fourth largest residential building company in New Zealand, says Paul.
Classic Builders now builds over 500 homes a year and includes offices in the Waikato, Northland, Auckland, Wellington and Queenstown.
Classic Builders is still owned by Peter, Matt and a group of shareholders avoiding the franchise model, which marks a distinct point of difference.
Paul says that the Classic Builders model allows the company to avoid the typical fees of the franchise model making the home build more cost effective for clients as well as allowing Classic Builders the ability to make quick and precise decisions.
“Customers also have the advantage of dealing with the owners on a day-to-day basis as each regional manager is also a shareholder in the business,” says Paul.
A point of difference is that the company is supported by a highly functional computer system, which means client services run seamlessly from the beginning to the end of a home build.
An important part of the company’s systems is the Classic Care customer care programme.
In 2013 and 2014 Classic Builders was awarded New Zealand’s best large builder for customer satisfaction, level of service and likelihood of referral in the BRANZ New House Owners Satisfaction Survey, which Paul says was largely as a result of Classic Care.
“Classic Care’s main focus is on client satisfaction.
We are constantly looking at ways to improve communication with clients, gain a better understanding of their needs and ensure that our people, our suppliers and our services are meeting those needs.
“If something isn’t right, Classic Care helps us identify it and fix it immediately, even if a client moved into their home years ago.
“We believe we are the only building company in New Zealand to operate an industry leading customer care programme,” says Paul.
Classic Builders offers house and land packages as well as a full design and build option.
The company also offers a range of over 150 plans ranging from $200,000 to multi million dollar residences. Clients can, of course, make any adjustments necessary to plans to suit their site and requirements.
All new homes built by Classic Builders come with a ten-year warranty.
