Quality products and excellent service
Rolleston-based Permbrand 2013 Ltd is a top South Island specialist supplier and installer of meal feeding systems and other quality products to the dairy and agricultural sector.
Over the past five years, the hard working team at Permbrand has built a leading reputation in Canterbury, installing automated feeding systems in rotary and herringbone sheds from Oamaru through to Kaikoura.
Skilled installers have the flexibility to work around farmers’ schedules and all equipment is fully compatible with the many herd management systems on offer.
Many options are available, using the very best of components such as the latest meal feeding equipment from renowned Belgian company Roxell. Meal feeding in the shed is a popular choice with dairy farmers, ensuring full control of feed delivery at the push of a button.
Grain crushing mills, imported from America and assembled in Permbrand’s workshop, have a proven track record for reliability and efficiency. The LPE Roller Mill is another excellent product with a strong performance record.
With its responsive after-sales service and maintenance programme, Permbrand will take care of clients long after the installation has been completed. “If someone calls us for repairs or maintenance, we try to be there within twenty four hours,” explains Permbrand’s operations and sales manager Phill Shaw.
“We are a small, experienced and responsive team and we take pride in our customer after-sales service.”
Along with meal feeding systems and grain milling equipment, Permbrand offers grain storage solutions with a choice of silos that can be installed by the shed, (or even installed before the shed goes up).
Systems for molasses feeding and mineral delivery are also available for new and existing dairy sheds, piggeries and poultry farms.
“It just gives farmers that real flexibility to get those extra minerals in front of the cows to ensure they get the right rations at the right time.”
At its w ell-equipped workshop, Permbrand designs and makes a number of its own products to meet local demand, such as for teat seal trailers used in the veterinary field.
Making products such as horse stalls and horse exercise arenas is another speciality area, with Permbrand having worked with many clients on lifestyle blocks and within Canterbury’s racing industry.
“We do a lot of stalls. For example, we’ve just completed a large set of horse stalls for PGG Wrightson for the annual yearling sales in Christchurch. Each panel is three by three metres and there are 42 panels in total, so that was a fairly large project.
“Apart from the imported meal feeding equipment from Belgium and the mills from America, we try and source everything else locally, as we do like to support local companies.”
Phill has been working for Permbrand 2013 Ltd since it began and last year stepped up to manage sales alongside operations to create a seamless interface between sales and installation.
“The company just keeps getting better. We’re not stuck in the past: we keep up with the latest developments and source the very best products we can for our customers.”
